At some point you must become proactive, to some extent, about your wellness; as much as you can be. Exploring different avenues that lead to wellness is very important. Recently my wife, a colleague and I completed a class geared toward helping people live well with chronic illness. This class was very enlightening on several key aspects of health and wellness.
Whether you have a chronic illness or just want to have a balanced life it is good to plan for all your nutrition, fitness, schedules and social needs in a way that helps you accomplish your personal wellness goals.
I really enjoy our clients. The diversity is exciting to me and their needs are all as different as they are. As I learn how to help our clients I have heard of several needs that people have and I wanted to share with you some information I learned by talking with John over at St John’s Hospital. There are several support groups and classes available at PeaceHealth St John’s, many of which are free or covered by insurance.
