Many of you saw Karen’s video about me and my on-going breathing issue. I greatly appreciate all the support and prayers. I’m happy to be back home with my boy Nicholas.
When I got home from the hospital on Monday evening I had a surprise in the mail from a friend who sent me a tea subscription box by Sips By. Every month they send you a selection of teas, some are loose leaf and some come in bags. They even provide reusable tea bags for the loose leaf teas. They use different companies and different grades of herbal and caffeine types of tea. I love that you get a variety and only 4 of each tea.
Here is what came in my first box:
- Cacao tea: The company is Macacao. This is a loose leaf tea. I had this the first night I came home. It is caffeine free and I enjoyed it. I had to add a bit of stevia to it because it was a bit bitter, but it was great after adding the sweetener.
- Organic Goji Green: The company is Davids tea. This is a loose leaf tea and it smells amazing. I have not tried it yet, because it is caffeinated. I will one morning soon.
- Peach and Passion fruit tea: The company is Ahmad Tea. This comes in its own bag. It smells amazing too.
- Chai Tea: The company is Tea Pigs. It comes in its own bag.
Since I already had a tea ball I didn’t try the reusable tea bags that came with this month’s box. I am saving them for future use.
Finding something to drink besides water is a challenge. Soda is bad for you. Drinking too much coffee is bad for you especially if you like it with all the sweet stuff in it. Tea is a nice treat. I use stevia in mine and sometimes the tea is sweet enough, without sweetener, especially the fruit types of tea.
Getting this box I am reminded about how much I love tea and that I need to add drinking tea back into my routine. What kinds of tea do you drink? What are some of your favorites? Have you gotten the Sips By subscription box and what did you think of it?
