Hi Guys! Thanks so much for coming back again!
Do you have friends that are healthy, they might be doing the vegetarian thing and you just want to kick them? You look at them and think I need to do something about my health. You must decide for yourself what healthy is for you.
The Army turned 245 this week (the army was established on June 14, 1775). In that 245 year period they have made so many changes. I don’t know of any other organization that has come as far as the army has regarding race relations and people getting along with a common mission: how to put a bunch of people from all over the world together and get one common goal and knock it out! I spent some time in the army (in the early 80’s). It has almost been 30 years ago for me. When I think about those things I know it never stops.
When I first entered I was told my sergeant that I would never be the same. When I went in I was 17 years old and my mother had to sign a waiver for me to join. When I came home I was not the same. When I joined it was the summer before I was a senior in high school, that is when I went to boot camp. When I came back I went to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) for more training. We were always training and that is the main thing I learned in the military…that you are always training to be better. That is the most positive thing I took from the army and now every day I am always trying to be better.
Now when it comes to a healthy lifestyle we might have friends that are already on their path. Maybe they are vegan or whatever, don’t trip them, learn from them because they are already having success and that can help you too. When you make a decision to live a healthy lifestyle things change. You might decide to stop drinking as much pop….I love Coke and I am not going to lie, I occasionally have a Coke. But when I had my aneurysm I was drinking a 6 pack a day. That’s crazy! Do you know how much sugar is in that stuff?! At the time I didn’t because I used to never read the back of anything. Once I started to read labels, I started to learn what was in the food I was eating and it helped me to make a new decision.
When you are making decisions to live a healthy lifestyle you have to make attainable goals. Sustainable goals are the easiest. You might fall off the wagon but you can get back on and try again. You have to make those decisions for your self. You need a Wellness Plan and I can help you create one.
Today we are going to work on the ball. I love working with a Stability Ball. Stretching is one of the first things you should do when you start exercising. You will feel much better. You can stretch your hamstrings and glutes and elongate your spine with the exercises we are doing today.
When you first get a ball be careful. It is called a stability ball because it will help you become more stable but go slow in the beginning. Don’t forget to breathe.
Call or text me at 360-447-8061 and we can talk about your success! I can’t wait to hear from you!
