Holiday meals can be overwhelming for us trying to stay healthy.
I like to do little cardio and weightlifting before and after eating Thanksgiving‘s meal.
Today’s tip: Changing American Classic to a Healthy Meal.
Instead of sweet potatoes casserole try sweet potatoes orange. This recipe is Gluten Free & Keto. Here the recipe I used:
Healthy Sweet Potatoes Orange
Ingredients:
- 6 cups sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 5 orange, meat remove from shell and juiced
- 1/2 cup goat milk
- 4 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 eggs
- Preheat oven 350 degree.
- Remove the meat of orange carefully without damaging shell and juice the orange (photo 1 & 2).
- In pot of simple syrup with coconut palm sugar, cook sweet potatoes Until tender. Drain and cool a little.
- Add into mixing bowl with eggs, milk, spice, juice from orange(photo 3). Mixed until smooth as you can get it.
- Fill the orange cups and or baking pan.
- Bake in oven for 20 to 30min.
Adjust to your liking. The square pan I freeze for Christmas. Serve immediately.
