I am Karen from Wellness Works NW and I am so excited about the emails and phone calls I have receiving from you! I love communicating.

Today I want to talk about 1972. I was in High Point, North Carolina on a Saturday night and it was time for the Grand Ole Opry. Porter Wagoner! Dolly Parton! Hank Williams! My great-grandmother loved to watch this on the old Philco black and white TV…This is where my love for country music first started!

It is June and half of the year is over. I know you are still thinking about starting a new Wellness Plan. It is hard to know when to start a new program and I am telling you it is time to start now!

When I first came to Longview, Washington, I was soldier in the Army. I was helping a friend out by driving him home to Longview from Tacoma. When I heard KUKN County on the radio I was so excited. I knew I was home!

I bet you can admit that you sometimes think about when you were in better shape. I know you are worried about it but I am here to tell you this is a process that we take one step at a time, but you have to start. Just like the Grand Ole Opry, you know when it has started and you know it is going to be a good show! It is time for you to start your WELLNESS and it is going to be a good fantastic show too!

Today I am going to talk to talk about our traps. The proper name is trapezius but we are going to call them traps. You have upper traps, middle traps and lower traps. Think about a kite that is the shape of your traps. Today we are going to use hand weights to work on our traps. We are going to do: The Shrug and The Face Pull.

The main thing is that you gotta get up and move!

Make sure to email Karen G Clemenson to tell how things are going!
